Adam Dweck is running for District 41 of the NYS Assembly because as a former political & government staffer he knows we can do better. Adam saw firsthand how corruption and mismanagement deprive our communities. Realizing the time would never be right and that politics as usual never works, he decided to act. Adam is running as a concerned citizen, independent of political machines and special interests. His main areas of focus include: government accountability, fixing the MTA, and applying common sense solutions to the migrant crisis, bail reform, and congestion pricing.

Adam first discovered his passion for civics as a student at Edward R Murrow HS. He continued his education in the field in college, graduating from the University of Delaware with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. Upon graduating, Adam worked for his local NYC Council Member where he was able to coordinate the sidewalk repair of Homecrest Avenue by Shore Parkway when numerous agencies passed blame (pictured). These are the same problem solving skills he plans on bringing to Albany.

After working for a Congressional campaign as a field organizer, Adam landed a fundraising role for top Democratic candidates. Then, after brief stints with the Nassau County Executive and Board of Elections, Adam had enough of the corruption and incompetence and took a job as a billing manager, a role he thrives in today.

But still he could not shake the political bug. Adam is running the right way, which is also the more difficult way -- a grassroots campaign. Adam, like you, is a hardworking New Yorker. He will always fight for his constituents. It is no secret that New York faces unprecedented challenges, and we can no longer wait for or expect positive change from entrenched career politicians.

Adam is a third generation Brooklynite, and a lifelong resident of Midwood. He is an avid sports fan, a biker, and plant lover. Adam is running on a platform of efficiency, accountability, and authenticity.
